Who is responsible?
This website is operated by Michael Szewczyk, an independent IT & Business Systems Consultant based in Perth, Western Australia. You can contact me at michaelszewczyk.consulting@gmail.com.
Information collected through enquiries
If you use the contact form, I collect the name, email address, company (if supplied) and message you enter. I use that information to respond to your enquiry, discuss possible consulting services and manage related correspondence. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information through the form.
Form processing
The form is processed by Netlify, the website hosting provider, and submissions are available in the Netlify project dashboard. I receive email notifications of new submissions. The information may also be stored in my email account as part of the correspondence.
Analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand how people find and use the site, including page visits, general traffic sources, browser and device information and approximate geographic information. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers for measurement. An event is recorded when the website confirms a successful contact form submission, but the form fields and message contents are not sent to Google Analytics.
Analytics information is used to understand which pages are useful and how many enquiries the website generates. Google may process this information according to its privacy policy. You can restrict analytics cookies through your browser settings or available browser privacy controls. Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags are not currently installed; if additional advertising tracking is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be reviewed and updated. Website hosting may involve technical logs and security measures managed by Netlify.
Sharing, storage and your choices
I do not sell enquiry information or add people to a marketing list simply because they contact me. Information may be processed by the providers used for website hosting and email. I keep correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to manage the enquiry, related services or applicable records, and review it when no longer necessary.
You can email me to ask what information I hold about you, request a correction or ask for deletion, subject to any applicable record-keeping requirements.
